Once upon a time, in a far away land (Waterville, ME), four enlightened college students were visited by a magical creature (Kendra Grimes of the Daily Jolt). She bequeathed a knowledge previously unbeknownst to Colby students, but now knownst to these four students. Kendra spoke of wide open, and easy to access knowledge of the Colby campus, and even beyond. And thus the Colby Jolt was born! We are proud to bring you a medium for selling stuff, carrying on discussions, finding restaurants, and much much more.
Let's meet our founders:
Josh: You might know him for his more famous ventures, like having helped lead the Jews to the Promised Land. The Jolt is his next effort to free minds and souls of a large mass of people - the students of Colby. Despite being several thousand years old, and still a junior, he enjoys many intellectual activities, such as listening to Dave Matthews, and watching Quentin Tarantino movies. His current residence is somewhere across the big blue ocean.
Michelle: Do you like the Beatles? Well, they wrote a song especially for her! When she’s not working on The Jolt, Michelle's most likely at the pub, taking a nap, skiing, off adventuring, watching 24 or the OC, or basically doing anything to avoid actually doing her work for just a little while longer. Her goal in life is to eventually become a professional ski bum.
